Chocolate Chip Whole Wheat Banana Bread

Banana Bread is a classic if it comes to dealing with overripe bananas. I mean I am not surprised, it is delicious! I don’t make it too often because bananas in my house don’t get many chances to get overripe. But it finally happened! I decided to take advantage and finally come up with a recipe that will be not only delicious but also healthy and filling. That’s how Chocolate Chip Whole Wheat Banana Bread got created.

In this recipe, I used whole wheat flour instead of all-purpose flour. Whole wheat flour has much more fiber, it keeps you full for longer.
Instead of using sugar, I went with locally bought, honey. As for chocolate chips I used unsweetened ones. All those small changes created this wholesome bread that makes a perfect breakfast as well as a dessert.

What to eat it with:
– cottage cheese with fruits
– plain yogurt with fruits
– frozen yogurt
– or just fruits!

Of course, you can eat it just like this, however adding some cottage cheese or yogurt with fruits will make it a more balanced and filling meal that will keep you satisfied for longer!
